Lately I've been having a craving to get a high end 8 string bass, I've been looking at one of the Ibanez 8's from the 70's and have fallen with the look of it and the versatility of the controls, but I've also been wanting to get a high end 5 string, as far as brand I'm not really sure, it'll be played with a pick the majority of the time I'd be using it so having a more "rock" look would be preferred! Also I'm into things that are just different so send me whatever you have to offer. now what I have to trade, it's a 2005(I believe) Fender American Standard Jazz bass, 60th anniversary model with the S-1 switch, this is a rare model because the body is made out of ash as opposed to alder and is stained in a gorgeous Sunset Orange, this bass plays like a dream and is my go to slap bass, action is very low and has a very growly sound to it but can also be sweet like early JPJ tones.  ~Taylor |
