Hi Mike- Do you have any specs or photos of the instrument? I went looking in the showcase but didn't see any with your name on them. Particularly interesting tidbits are the scale length and wood card info. I think you'll do better posting some details here rather than having every interested party emailing you for them. -Bob |

I've downsized the pics Mike sent me and here they are: Upgraded flame maple top, side red LED fret markers, OHSC, born in Santa Rosa on 1/17/03. Price is $2200.

Very pretty, but a bit more than I can spend. Someone will be happy with it, though! Note that I think Mike's email address in the message that started this thread is incorrect. I sent to it and it bounced. The address in his profile is: MImplicito@yahoo.com. I sent to that one as well and it hasn't bounced, so I suspect it is the correct one. |

So, a few questions... What's the scale length? Are you the original owner? According to Alembic's website, a flame top is standard on these guitars and this one looks about the same grade as most that I have seen pictures of. Can you describe what about this top makes it an upgrade? Also, can you confirm that you received the email I sent you last week? Thanks-

Bob; just a guess. Looking at the quote generator for an Essence, you can get a "Master Grade" Flame Maple top as a five hundred dollar upgrade. By the way. I had not looked at the quote generator in a while. Several of the options have been updated; for instance several K bodies have been added. |

Bob - I did get your e-mail. The scale is 24.75. I purchased the guitar from Super Bass in Ohio. He was becoming an Alembic dealer and ended up with the Skylark as part of his initial inventory. It was brand new when I received it and it is just as immaculate now. I have 3 electrums and prefer the longer scale. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks......Mike |

Mike: Three Electrums? How about some pictures in the Showcase section. There are only three Electrums in there now, you could double it all by yourself! Electrum owners are a small, (but obviously intelligent and classy), sub-group of the club. Let's see yours. Bill, tgo |
