Given that its only the neck the seller is claiming to be Alembic it might more accurately be listed as a Kellembic as opposed to a custom piece from the mothership.

I warned everyone about not letting your Alembics out at night and allowing them to run around the neighborhood with the Fenders. This is what you get!!

I really wonder what the original bass was and what its serial number is, since last time I looked, no one was actually slapping the old Series One down on the bandsaw in order to make a Fender out of it.

My guess is that it's a shop night neck or even a reject that managed to escape. I tried to look at the top of the headstock to see if a serial number had been stamped up there, but it looked blank.

I'd pay about $200 for it.
