Is it my eyesight, the photo itself, or did someone, post-factory, install an additional switch awfully close to the typical controls found on a Persuader? |

There's also an extra hat knob. Four knobs, two switches; conceivably it could be that someone ordered the parts from Alembic to upgrade to signature, and then tried to cram them into existing space as best they could. Or it could be something a lot less desirable. The handles on the switches appear to be the same, though one looks to be unusually mounted. If it's Signature electronics, then the bass is, in my view, a great find if the price stays in the normal Persuader range; though the control layout is a bit cramped. It could also be that it retains the original two volume controls, with the addition of a second filter and the two Q switches. This would be pretty cool too, if wired correctly. If it's just something thrown together that may or may not work (note that seller says it "might need to be tested"), then it may be worth less than a normal Persuader, depending on what needs to be done to get it right. It might be worth it to someone to request pics of the control cavity. |
