$1649 plus shipping. My bottom Dollar price !!! Insured CONUS. If you are interested please feel free to ask any questions. NO trades please. Cash is King Pay Pal preferred

CocoBolo/Maple Body $400 purchased here
Neck made by Johnson's Strangely Weird Musical Instruments $849 (the old neck was too far gone so he made me one ). A great luthier.
Schaller hardware over $250. $150 For a pro setup aka intonation and electronics installation was done by Bordentown Guitar Rescue (NJ - Mike Virok)
The Bass is featuring DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups $100 & an ACG/East EQ2 preamp $300. A 9volt pre ( can be turned into 18 volt )
The pre amp is very Alemic-esque in nature. All 3 knobs are double stacks from left to right - volume(w pan for pickups) bass, and treble. all the outputs for the filters/volume are on the top, and the functions are on the bottom, aka bass, treble, and pan. The pan has a center dent. 3 Switches as well. First 2 switches from left to right are series parallel, and active/passive. The 3rd switch closest to the input jack is an on/off mini ! Are you excited yet?
You will get a strap $40 - free and a Reunion Blues Centennial gig Bag w the Flexoskeloton and heavy duty padding a $200 - free
There are a few dings and things but nothing to deter you from having an Alembic type bass !
Btw what I almost forgot to mention is the neck is eerily similar to a 4001 w a thin profile and a little flat in the middle - Jazz-esque as well.

The neck is more Jazz-esque. Btw what I didn't mention is the neck is eerily similar to a 4001 w a thin profile it too has the flat middle.. Schaller 4-string bass bridge, with roller saddles, Chrome, Adjustable spacing 2-3/32" to 2-1/2". The baseplate is 3-1/8" x 2-1/4. Each saddle is adjustable for height and intonation. String spacing is very configurable left or right.

information/additional pic on the bass bridge can be found in this link:

The radius of the neck is 12". 24 medium frets and a nasty bite when played. Neck is a bolt on w threaded metal grommets utilizing metal screws to hold the neck very tight . This makes for is quite a bit of sustain.

Reason I am selling my custom made bass is that I had spinal surgery a couple of years ago and still have spinal edema and nerve damage. C4 & C5 vertebrae are fused together. My spine was compressed 90%. I need emergency surgery & I knew going in it could just be a quality of life thing afterwards for me so here we are I have finally come to realize I will not need many basses and many cabs/heads so I am going to stay w one bass. Unfortunately like an Alembic this is a true hippie sandwich and is a little too heavy for me it is 12lbs or so . But mimics my old Triple Omega Mutant maple top that has been sold as well.
