I bought one of these (8 ohms) a few months back and run it with a Carvin R-1000. They are KILLER cabs. If this cabinet is in good shape, which it looks like it is, this could be a steal. This one is 4ohm and has the upgraded speakes...

Hey Stoney! Don't you just love the Euphonic cabs? I am totally in love with my VL-208. I wish they still made them! Mike

Hey Mike, yea I love the soundSSSS all of em!, I've been looking around for some of those 208s but no luck so far. I do have an iAmp800 combo and an ext. CXL 112 (amazing), also some buds just helped put together a 110 combo amp (350 head & 110) for me. The airhead cab arrives tomorrow.

The carvin pumps 700 watts @ 8ohms into the 210. F1X before the Carvin sounds phenominal.

Hey Dave, thanks. Unfortunately, I wasn't using my Alembic for the live ones. I decided to use my birthday Jazz bass and I had a problem with my Trace Eliott head (squeek, squeek squeek)so the engineer had to cut the high end off of the bass tracks (UUGH) I did, however use my Essence for "Substitute" and "The Real Me"
Glad you liked it. The site is coming along and will have a guest page.....cruise on by anytime..

Isn't the Alembic from the pics living somewhere in the UK these days? That was a very pretty bass that I should have purchased when I had the opportunity - oh well!
