I had a 1975 bass that was real close to that ones body woods. Except mine had the zebra wood front and the koa back. Every other detail was pretty much the same. I wish I still had that bass. The guitar for sale looks great, but to my eyes looks like it may have been refinished. Maybe it is just the pictures, but to me it just isn't yellow enough. |

Thanks for pointing that out Mike. I agree. I'm considering this guitar and, as they would say on Antiques Roadshow, it appears the patina has been removed. And this does devalue it as far as what I might be willing to pay. I think I'll e-mail the seller and ask if the pictures accurately represent the finish. Bill, tgo |
