This guitar is made from the same board as my SII. I wonder what the serial # is? |

The serial number of this guitar is 75'-213 in my archives. Our club (of Japan) member owned it. The picture is here. At 1975 to 1976, nice grained zebrawood top were appeared. I love such wood so much ! But I have never seen it in later years. Eiji |

My series I bass 76 262 has a similar Zebra wood also. I wonder how many instruments came from this tree? |

What happens if you scan the wood grain and turn the pattern into sound waves? |

A Beautiful guitar. I had a '77 series 1 zebra guitar that look a lot like that except mine had a vermillion fingerboard. Wish I still had that one. |

I think this one may have made it back to the factory at some point~ it would explain the case, truss rod cover.... Perhaps a refinish?!? |
