The back still reads" San Francisco". I presume that means that it was built perhaps @ the old 60 Brady St. location in the 1970's . The unit is located locally not far from me and I have been incredibly tempted to grab it for my self. The fact is that I already have two pristine older F-2B's and two F1-X's . It contains the F-2B that was sold locally on craigslist just a week or so ago in my area . I spoke with the seller .It seems that he still had it listed for sale after you mentioned in your post #17 that you finalized the purchase. I had thought perhaps that the sale did not go through. You got a good deal for the price that you paid, I believe that your price was perhaps disclosed to me as a best offer at that time which was less then is the listed asking price . That is an interesting red colour rack that this system is enclosed in. Works well and sounds great. It's just a simple studio rack. No lids. I don't play out all that often, so I didn't anticipate it being trasported too much.
