New Further, the only one ever made in pale moon ebony. This one has lots of custom options and can be seen at our website http://guitarrez.com/inventory/alguitarinv/alfurpalemoon.html |

Dear person from the Grez store, Please read the heading on this page, where it says: "Note: this space is provided as a convenience for members of this board. Please take precautions when dealing with someone you don’t know. This is not a commercial market place, nor is it an auction site. Please be respectful of this board and its members." This is not the place for store ads. Peter |

Thanks, Peter, for helping us to clarify what we really mean about a "commercial marketplace." We've got some details posted over here but the gist is that it's okay for authorized Alembic dealers to post simple notices of new Alembics for sale in the For Sale section. No spamming the other topics, and keep it all Alembic (or face my wrath (I am so scary!)). |

"Ruthenium plating" Never heard of it - sounds like old time Yankees hitting long home runs! However, I suspect that's not what it means. So? What exactly is "Ruthenium plating"? Bill, tgo |

Grez - pay no attention to the grumpy old fart behind the keyboard; apologies. Carry on. Mica - glad to be of assistance (that Further would be quite an alright token of appreciation.....yummy!) Peter |

I have been talking with Jim since last week about this very guitar with the Ruthenium plating, then I came across this post tonight! I'm doing a road trip to Austin tomorrow just to see the Further in person & see if there might perhaps be some Ruthenium in my future! No, I'm not buying the Further, those strings are way too skinny for me, but I think the Ruthenium would look pretty sweet on a nice 5 string! :-) |
