This is a 1997, four string, neck through Rogue bass. The Rogue is a great bass for someone used to Fender ergonomics, as the horn stretches to the 12th fret. So, the balance is great, and it's not a boat anchor.

Plays like a dream, no dead spots, and sounds amazing. It's in great condition, but has a little wear in the slap position.

I don't have the build info from Alembic yet, so you'll have to take your best guess on the top wood.

I love this bass, and it's pretty much everything I want in an instrument. I'm on the fence about selling this, but sometimes you have to part with the things you love.

For right now I can't take trades. However, if some of my other instruments/gear sells first, I _might_ be able to take a partial trade + cash.

$2500 + shipping from Chicago.

Looks like mine, except the top wood is quilted maple instead of flame maple.

Mahogany back, purple heart sandwiched between, maple neck with walnut laminates.

Mine is from 1998 - they must have made a bunch of these. Great over all choices in woods and electronics.

Sweet axe - I love mine.

I do love this bass. It's versatile, and sounds great.

Anyhow, it's been awhile since I've touched this thread, but it's still available.

By Fender ergonomics do you mean neck profile ? I find that Fender Pbasses have baseball bat necks and jazz basses have a more comfy feel, but I like skinny neck profiles best. This bass is a dream !

Sorry all, this year has been all sorts of crazy, and I kinda lost track of my for-sale items.

Life has changed, and I think I'm gonna hang on to this for now.

My apologies for leaving this one unattended for so long.
