Mine are trapezoidal on the inside (with rectangular shells) and also have a resistance of about 750 ohms (not a typo, less than 1k), whereas the more current ones have a higher resistance and a more standard magnet and bobbin shape. I'm guessing mine are from ca. 1973 or so. They sound great, but are susceptible to directional noise.
