I am thinking of selling my 95 5 string Epic. I have had it almost 5 years and just hardly ever play it.

It sounds great and functions fine. It has honest player wear and was played professionally before I got it. There are 2 spots on the top where the finish has worn through from playing and the back of the neck has small dings and wear from playing and sitting in guitar stands at gigs that you can feel, but I don’t find them objectionable.

The fret board is fine and the frets have many-many years of life left in them. The action is great and it does not buzz. These basses are built super solid and made to be played. The neck has a nice solid volute to protect it and the bass balances well.

It has a nice after-market case that I spent a lot of time and effort custom-fitting to this bass and I am very proud of the job I did. It is not the first one I have done and I have gotten quite good at doing it. The case is a little body heavy because I did not relocate the handle though (case butt dive?), but it is not a problem to carry.

Price is $1,100 plus shipping and insurance to USA only (no exceptions – please do not ask). It might take me a few days to scrounge a box to fit it from my local Guitar Center. PayPal is the way to pay.

This would make a great bass for a pro player who gigs a lot and wants that Alembic tone!

Here is my posting in the showcase area when I bought it:

It is not only similar to my Epic 5 (mine is a 96´tho), but you also happened to buy it pretty much at the same time I bought mine! (Late 2009). How I wish I could buy it from you, just to have a wonderful twin backup!

Sorry but bass is for sale in USA only at this time because I don't want to ship it overseas.
