Well after finally finding one and falling in love with it the band I was using it in fell apart and I've decided to sell it. It's in great condition, a couple little dings here and there, and a little spot of clear coat that had chipped off on the treble side of the neck joint and is missing the back of one of the tuners which doesn't effect it at all. This bass sounds INCREDIBLE! It's controls are: -Master Volume -Passive Tone -Active/Passive Switch -Preamp Volume -6 position Varitone -Pickup selector The man who owned this bass really took some time in setting it up, action plays like a dream and it also features an 8 saddle bridge so it is perfectly intonated and also very Alembic like with a sustain block and brass bridge/tailpiece. It comes with the original hardshell case with all the latches working! For sale price: $1000 Trade value: $1200 Trade interests: -60's Fender Coronado II Bass all original in great condition -70's Fender Precision in natural ash or Mocha Brown finish -70's Fender Precision fretless with maple fretboard in either sunburst or natural ash -'76 or later Gibson Ripper in all ebony -Gibson RD Artist bass in all ebony or sunburst -Gibson EB-2 -60's Fender Coronado II guitar in Wildwood email me at tmoney61092@aol.com for more pictures/offers! ~Taylor |

Thanks enzo! I love this bass so much! But it's just getting played like it needs to! In my opinion it NAILS that JPJ and Greg Lake 8 string tone exactly! So thunderous! ~Taylor |

I know somebody here wants this...this bass is from the golden age of Ibanez where they handmade there instruments! The man I got it from says it rivaled his Alembic Distillate and his 70's BC Rich basses in its tone and tone options! ~Taylor |

Speaking of BC Rich, I'll add a late 70's Eagle or Mockingbird bass to the trade list! ~Taylor |

bump, really don't want to have to list this on ebay...will accept offers and also looking for vintage amp trades like a 60's/early 70's Silverface Fender Bassman head with 2x12 cabinet or Acoustic 360/361 setup, don't like new amps too much ~Taylor |

I played one for a year, but the Musician version with thru neck. That one is very heavy but has great sustain and an 8 string sound is very special. I was not so content with mine's E string. I do regret I sold it though. |
