Hey guys I have an SB elite that I would probably sell but I'm looking for info on shipping to Greece (I've never shipped a bass out of the US) for mumra and a price for the bass. I don't know what it's worth so ball park ideas would be great. I think it's an 84 and it has little scratches by the back strap button and one "impression" roughly half of a pinky fingernail (on my tiny girl hands) on the belly contour.

Mumra, are you looking for an original from the 80's? The reason I ask, ARIA is once again offering some 're-issue' SB basses, including the Black and Gold, even an SB five:

. . . . and Aria lists a Greek distributor,

Ok.Finally i see the aria in greece. It has some marks from all those years. Also it has a crack of the color between the neck and the 1st fret near the nut.I thin it is not a fretboard problem.I believe i will buy it.

Hey! You can find great deals on used Arias on the evil bay if you look hard enough. I got my current main onstage bass, an 81 lefty Aria SB, for $700! there's a couple of beautiful ones almost identical to cliff's, aside from the finish, for around $1250, on there right now.

Hope this helps :-)

> Yeah those are the rarer ones. I mean, you can save a ton on the regular SB's and still get the killer tone :-) if color is still important you can always send it in to get refinished. There's some great deals on those pro II SB's on ebay like mine, and a lot are vintage and in pristine shape- mine looks great aside from a small finish chip on the lower horn and a small finish crack right on the edge of the body. It plays like a dream.

Thanks zero as I said I have seen one in my city for 300euros but it has a lot of marks.the problem
Is that it has a crackle between the neck and the first fret.I believe that is a color crack only.all parts are original and I am thinking of it

I think i'll give up.....I see many of them but all asks more money than the money I can give.I see basses with signs and scars and the sellers asks a lot of money.
I'm still playing with my alembic and I am very happy..............
Keep "bass-ing"
