Explanation: the neck is simply too wide (1-7/8" at the nut and 2-3/4" at the 12th fret) and ironically the balance is a problem (my right hand naturally falls WAAAY too close to the bridge... thus the "tension" is chewing-up my fingers). $4,000 plus shipping.
