Hello All,
I am the original owner of a 77-630; Bird's eye Maple top/back, Mac ebony board, and Zebrawood peghead.New case, cord, original power box in perfect shape. I hardly took this out in early years, never again. I have medical issues, and have grown to like a big P bass neck. The tone needs no explanation. I have enclosed some pics and if you like we can talk. OK?

I imagine it's a 34" scale? Can you describe its technical conditions, neck, frets, electronic...

Hi Enzo,
Basically the bass hass spent 90% of it's life in the case. I played it in college and a few recordings. Sold it and bought it back because of a divorce, but have had serious neck operation with fusings, titanium rods, etc.-Too heavy and long reach for my neck. I'm also getting married again, plus thinking about a new car. 34" scale with a Macassar Ebony Board, frets are in an almost new condition, with almost no side feel to the frets. Truss rod is smooth, intonation easy to adjust and hold. top nut makes action super adjustable. Electronics are super quiet. The low pass filters will squeal at certain setttings from lack of use, but a few turns and it's clean. I am amazed how tonally sensitive it is to amp controls-just beautiful. Body and neck have aged to a mellow gold on all the Maple, including the Bird's eye parts. It has a small surface crack 1 1/2" long on the back leading to the control cavity, Which happpened from the person I bought it back from-no explanation. Spoke to Mica, she said drop some crazy glue in it and you're fine. It has not grown in 10 years. No dings, scratches, checking, etc. Basically NOS. Ask me anything else.
Thanks

I will respond back to you on your e mail site. You info does not say where you live. I would want to figure the freight cost.

It looks as if one of the Q switches has been replaced. That would be the source of the squeal. Nice wood and very clean condition.

Actually, The squeal is from on of the low pass filters, which is from not enough use. Turn it back and for the a few times and it is self cleaning.

Hey Marco,

Wanna trade for a Dingwall AB II 5 string?
She weighs only 8 lbs. is perfectly balanced & has infinitely more tonal variations than a P bass.

Cheers,
Stephen
