We've all seen the fake Alembic Elans with rub on "Alembic" letters on the headstock.

Well, here's a first: a REAL Elan with "Alembic" stuck on the body!

That is bizarre: I guess he REALLY wanted people to know it was an Alembic!

I emailed the seller about this. Here is his reply:

"The word "Alembic" is a die cut label that I have placed on the body of the guitar. It can be removed. It has never peeled, or obstructed the use of any polish."

I don't think the seller would mind my posting this since it may address some doubts potential buyers may have.
