I am wanting to sell my 5 string essence which has Europa peg head and Rogue electronics. Since I got my six string Rogue it has hardly ever been out of its case. Plenty of pictures and information at http://alembic.com/club/messages/394/41849.html?1187807493#POST90006. Asking AUS$2500.00. I would prefer pick up but am happy to arrange shipping at buyers expense.

SOLD. The Essence was picked up today by another Alembic Club member. Glad it was a member who appreciated what he was getting.

Oh yeah you got that right Derek. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you so much my friend. It is a 15 year old bass that looks like it's 15 minutes old! Happy dance all night long.

Thanks also to tomhug for his interest he was well in the running. The eBay experience was not as good as it could have been - three weeks with only offers of near 50% of asking price. I believe was asking a fair price and would have rather kept it than much lower than I was asking. I fortunately was not in the position to sell at any price. I think you need to be a true Alembician to know what they are worth in the after market.

Just kidding, glad it found an enthusiastic new home.

Derek, even though we didn't actually do business, it was a pleasure corresponding with you. Your Rogue 6 is beautiful (from what I can see here on the club).

Congrats, Slawie!

I told Derek that I definitely believe in the serendipity of such things.

( and I am fortunate enough have a couple other Santa Rosa creations to keep me company in the meantime... )
