No tears this time :-). A fine bass and maybe the finest instrument I ever owned, but I am getting deeper into home recording and this is my least used instrument. The type of music I am doing now (and in the near future) doesn't require this. It has been in a closet for the past nine months. This time I shall use the funds expanding my Pro Tools rig. This bass is much nicer looking in person and it's in great shape. I played it for four hours last night with my Hendrix tribute buddies. We played a SRV instrumental and I got a chance to solo it for a few turn arounds....wonderful. I'm 53 and this is my 3rd. Alembic in my stable. I really wanted a chance to play and own a series 2 before I'm too old or dead. I'm still grinning this morning from ear to ear.
