Having trouble resizing pics so if you are interested, I can email them to you. They are approximately 2MB each.

If anyone has the ability to resize the pics and post them, I will email them to you and thank you for that service.

There should be pics somewhere on this forum. It is in the same condition as on the other pics.

Hey Mike, how are you?

No tears this time :-). A fine bass and maybe the finest instrument I ever owned, but I am getting deeper into home recording and this is my least used instrument. The type of music I am doing now (and in the near future) doesn't require this. It has been in a closet for the past nine months.

This time I shall use the funds expanding my Pro Tools rig.

By the way...the daughter graduated law school three weeks ago!

Hope you can reach an agreement with the seller Ken. That's a gorgeous bass. I just love the figuring on the Walnut.

Is it long scale like most of the Series basses I've seen up for sale? (Don't worry Ken, I'm hopefully in the process of adding a Europa to my stable so I'm not interested in this one).

On behalf of the bass guitar, I am sure that it thanks you for the compliments.

Yes, it is a long scale (34").

The bass is sold to a fellow club member. Congratulations to the next caretaker. I shall let him identify himself if he chooses...

Thanks for that Harold. This bass is much nicer looking in person and it's in great shape. I played it for four hours last night with my Hendrix tribute buddies. We played a SRV instrumental and I got a chance to solo it for a few turn arounds....wonderful. I'm 53 and this is my 3rd. Alembic in my stable. I really wanted a chance to play and own a series 2 before I'm too old or dead. I'm still grinning this morning from ear to ear. I'm off to change the strings, clean some brass, and give it a set up tweak.

Thank you German, and all congratulations to Ken. Although they seem rather no big deal around here, a Series II is a BIG DEAL! I have had the pleasure of being the caretaker of this fine instrument for quite a few years and now it is time for Ken to takeover.

Perhaps the next one will be for you...
