Several years ago this would have been me too - I missed out on a beautiful 4003 with Activators. Best of luck and if you do get some please post some soundclips! |

I tried sending a PM but it came back as an error. I recently bought a Ric with Alembic pickups and electronics. I took them out and put in original stuff, so this stuff could be up for sale. |

Sorted, thanks Moonliner! My 4003 sounds MUCH cleaner, it has a full spectrum, not as much grunge but still has some recognisable Rick tonality due the physical placement and the structure of the bass. It is like you can tell its a Rick on AM radio and FM radio and the latter was what I wanted. |

Hey Keith (moonliner), It's Garret! Hope all is Heaven with your '72 Rick 4001. Glad to know you've got her situated the way you wanted! And nicely placed the Alembic Rick Activator System! Congratulations Ovid! Killer Alembic Tone Control in a Rick! Excellent COmbination! |

I'm glad it all worked out for everyone! Selling those pickups will help fund my current build, and I'm glad they went to a good home! Garrett, I' LOVING the 72 Rickenbacker! It's a jewel in my collection and it gets lots of use. |
