Short scale 5 string, looks like the 3/4 Spoiler bodyshape: http://link.marktplaats.nl/m821391156

One of the first, solid Koa decal Spoiler: http://link.marktplaats.nl/m844740127

4 string Orion: http://link.marktplaats.nl/m841130035

5 string Orion: http://link.marktplaats.nl/m831309778 (I think this one was tested in the Dutch "Gitarist" (guitar player) magazine

I quite like the 5 string fretless. I think a bass like that, Elan or Europa will have a place in my arsenal somewhere in the distant future.

Well spotted Flip

Hi Fellows,

That 5 strings Spoiler is quite 'disturbing' my nights. What do you think about the fact there's no real serial number available ? For the rest, it seems a nice instrument, with the tuning I'm looking for and the short scale (not common on a Spoiler I guess).

Best for you

Those 3/4 size Spoilers are sweet!

The serial number should be stamped into the fretboard, just beneath the 24th fret. The "1695" number from the pickup cavity is not the serial number.

It could very well be a 30.75" short scale, the top frets look closer together than on my 32" Spoiler. Best way to measure is from the inside of the top nut to the middle of the 12th fret, and then double. 30.75" is 78,1 cm, 32" is 81,3 cm.

Thank you for your answer adriaan. I already have one 4 strings medium scale Spoiler which sounds very well (even I must to admit that my SC is more under my hands).

That one, apart it is a 5 strings, is quite different. That scale and that neck construction which seems like more exclusive models. Itīs not to far from my place, so I guess I definitely have to test it.

Regards
