Hi there; I have an SF-2 in excellent condition that I'm willing to sell or swap direct for an F2-B. I'm in the UK so there would be extra costs though I would have to get a quote on exactly how much. The dollar's not brilliant against the pound just now if I let it go for £350 that's the equivalent of $580 and that's £100 or $160 less than what I payed! Let me know if you're interested, you can email me direct if you wish ratbull6@gmail.com Best, Rob. |

Is the SF-2 voltage switchable? Or would modifications have to be made for it to run on 110-120V? |

A quick google turned up this quote from Mica: "You need to get an external "wall wart" power supply for the proper voltage in your country that matches the power rating (10.5-17.5 VDC) and the polarity (center contact positive) for the SF-2." |

So does that mean crazyboy had to use the "wall wart" and that its already set to go for the states? |

If it does not have a wall wart compatible with US power standards you would need buy one yourself as the one for the UK would not be compatible. Keith |

Hi there: just to make matters worse I bought the SF-2 from a friend of mine in Portugal so the power supply is for EU! However, don't know how this affects the voltage (I'm not that technical myself...) I do know that a simple mains socket adapter solves the plug issue and I use this for both EU and US products I've bought, I haven't had any issues but in terms of the US products that amounts to a compressor pedal, an iPhone charger and the Mrs' hair dryer... However, as always, I would defer to the wisdom of Mica and Alembic for the final word... ;-) |

This is what it says on the back (see photo), I've posted a couple of the front as well, I know they're not brilliant but rushed off the iPhone just to give you an idea... |

Apologies Craig, file sizes too big so I've just emailed them instead. For the benefit of recent posts the back panel at the power socket reads: 10.5-19.5 VDC and the diagram indicates: centre contact positive. Phew, complicated! I'll just stick to playing bass... |
