Hello Im looking to move my Ric 4003 Mapleglo. Was recently setup and plays/sounds wonderful. Only looking to move because I just purchased an Orion 5 string and I need to try and recoup some funds. There is not a mark on her I can see, will ship in OHSC. Looking for $1450 shipped in the CONUS only. Thank you for looking! - Tom (Message edited by echo008 on November 03, 2014) (Message edited by echo008 on November 03, 2014) |

What year is it? Does it have the push / pull vintage switch on the treble volume control? |

That is a sweetie of a bass. I had a '72 toaster/checkerboard 4001 from '73-94. Owning another Ricky is definitely on my bucket list, but I miss the checkerboard binding. |

Were those the ones with the "crushed" inlays and toasters, for sure very nice. You can't get one of those for $1450 (Message edited by echo008 on November 04, 2014) (Message edited by echo008 on November 04, 2014) |

Man, I'm seriously thinking about pulling the trigger. My 1st Pro bass was the Rickenbacker 1974 Black Beauty (I bought it in 1974 @ 8th street music in Philly)! And now that I have the rig to run it properly muh trigger finger is gettin' mighty itchy!! |

That's a great price. There's got to be a Ricky fan to snatch this one. |
