A quilt maple 20th anniversary is listed on Ebay. Their asking price is $3500. I am trying to get info on scale length, etc. Perry |

The run was for 200, plus there was one production prototype. According to Mica, all the basses in the run were built. |

My 20th weighs in at a hefty 11.5 pounds - treat yourself to a well crafted, wide strap. Although I consider my bass priceless, the above asking price seems a bit high to me. It's all relaitve. |

Agreed; I could be coerced into spending that much on an extra-fine Series but 11.5 pounds doesn't seem all that heavy to me...my Small Standard weighs in at about 10. |

I'm used to the weight, rehearsals aren't the shoulder breaking ordeal they used to be, the strap helped. The increased weight is substantial compared the Jazz I owned. For me, the greatest adjustment was the reach for first postion. After a few bone grafts my left arm is now two inches longer, keeps my tailor happy. My thoughts exactly - for that price, I'd shop for a Series as well, or maybe a pair of Exploiters, Rogues, or combinations thereof. |

This bass (AM 031) appeared on eBay back in May, for sale by a private party. It failed to sell at the $5500 asking price. Apparently, the owner either traded it in at GC or they're selling it on consignment. nic |

Sad to say, that's my old bass which I sold to a friend for $1600 less than a year ago. |
