There is what appears to be a very nice 6-string walnut Europa on Ebay for 1 more hour. Current high bid is $2,900 and there's no reserve. If I had not purchased a maple 6-string Europa several months ago I'd be bidding on this one. It's got the first non-cone headstock I've seem on a 6er. |

Is that walnut or Koa on the top left? Is that some crazy inlay on the 2nd from left on top? And does the stambaugh have a crazy inlay? They're spoilers right? I've said for a long time the spoiler is the baddest bass! Congrats man! Martial arts too?! You must be very wealthy and/ or not have "dream crushers", I mean kids. Lol, I'm joking I love being a dad but it seriously impedes writing. Nice collection! |

Very nice collection. I guess I should have been more specific and indicate that it's the first non-cone headstock I've seen on a standard 6-string Europa |

The Europa six string sold for $2,900. Needed to search completed or sold listings to find it. http://tinyurl.com/p4bqarf I think visually this one is even nicer but the price asked seems way too high. Not surprised there were no bids or takers at the buy it now price. I can't play fretless well enough to be even remotely tempted which is good since the bass is located about 15 minutes drive from where I live. http://tinyurl.com/o9t9ddl |

L to R Koa, Quilted Maple w mop dragon inlay, Walnut, Distillate 5 sold, 7 fretless cocobolo, Stambaugh sold to Paul Ranieri. No wife, no kids, no pets. Ba Gua Qigong when my back is in the mood. My others are 3 black Excel shaped 5's and a 10 str. custom Excel shape in black. Ive thinned the Alembic herd down to 10. Bottom line, keep playing what you love and have fun regardless of the gear. |
