Looks like a sister Bass of mine is for sale. Love seeing these Basses so close in looks and birthdate. Doesn't list the SN# but the Koa top looks like from the same log. The price will be a tough call at best for the seller as well as the pickup selector damage. http://www.ebay.com/itm/USED-ALEMBIC-Series-I-SSB-1975-Bass-With-Hard-Case-/171710969462?pt=Guitar&hash=item27fac57676 |

The serial number is 75AE222. I asked. The pickup selector damage is just the knob. That is what they look like when the plastic breaks away. Easy fix. In fact I was admiring just how original it is. Tempting. |

My Series had a broken selector knob like that when I got it, but my buddy Stoney sent me the plastic knob and it's good as new. Definitely a cool bass. Someone should scoop it up. I like the back laminate. |
