Hey Guys,
I have no doubt that I am going to regret this, but I'm putting my 75 Short Scale Series 1 up for sale or possible trade. If traded I'm looking for a Medium Scale Series, I just Love the way the Series sounds.
The Bass works great in fact the electronics and pickups were sent to the Mother Ship and came back with a clean bill of health.
Koa top, Maple core, "The Zebrawood" back, Maple and walnut neck. She's pretty. Comes with the small blue power supply and original cable. $3950.00

Thank you, Looking to give her a good home.
Peace,
Pete

After gaining some sound Sage advice, restringing, giving her a cleaning and a fresh fretboard lemon treatment. I brought this Bass to a rehearsal and I'm just not ready to let her go yet.
Series electronics are quite special.
Maybe a Series to Series trade?
Any way thanks for your consideration.
Peace,
Pete

I know when I see someone posting sale on sale off listings they can be a bit frustrating and for this I apologize.
I was having a hard time getting what I needed from this bass partly because of ignorance on what to expect from the wood mixture and understanding of a Series Electronics.
I knew it was there and I had to take every avenue to find the right combinations of settings SF-2 and controls.
Finally I nailed it! Great compliments on tone tonight!
Thank you all for your correspondences.
But she's a keeper
Peace,
Pete

Good for you. Even though I am interested in this bass for its maple core (LOVE maple core basses!), and am happy you want to keep it. I hope it gives you a lifetime of great pleasure. If you change your mind, take the money and move to the next logical step. You have lots of time, so who needs to rush into anything . . .

Glad you found your sound Pete! The SF-2 can make a broomstick sound AMAZING! LOL! Let me offer you some "sound" advice on my own journey to tonal Nirvana. I got my Series II Europa 6 months ago, & I loved the bass but was not completely happy with the sound of the B string. I used my SF-2 to make it better & was pretty happy. Then I recently bought an Accugroove "El Whappo" cabinet & HELLO! There is the B string I have been missing! The El Whappo is a 4 way cabinet with a 15/12/6/dual tweeter combination. Now my B will crack concrete! So my problem was that I was trying to get the B to sound great through 10" speakers & they just weren't cutting it. So if you aren't still completely blown away with your sound, I highly recommend the Accugroove cabinets, they are the Alembic of speaker boxes!
