well, as you all know about a month ago i sold my beloved persuader vector to a deserving club member in louisville, colorado. i bought a coco bolo mark king and i absolutely love it. however, i've missed my persuader more than anything. so, i couldn't pass up the opportunity to own a persuader again. they're just alot of fun to play. so simple. great touch. very responsive. it seems all the variations of tone are just from your fingertips and not from the controls. sometimes when i'm playing my mark king, it's almost as if the bass has a mind of its own and it's playing me rather than the other way around. i just had to have a simple bass w/simple electronics and controls. like i said, having played my mark king for a couple of months i can't imagine not having it and i can't imagine what it's like to own and play a series; however, i've missed the simplicity of really manhandling a simpler bass w/the sound of my old persuader. so, i bought this one. it's just that simple. |
