90's USA Peavy B90 bass with Alembic P/J pickups and electronics. At$325 it seems like a good buy just for the pickups and electronics.I contacted the seller and he sent me a pic of the electronics cavity, but it's too large to post (I'd be glad to forward it to anyone interested) Seller is willing to ship it. http://allentown.craigslist.org/msg/5017139967.html |

I was very tempted, but it would cut into my funds I've earmarked for purchase of an F1X. |

Gee, I wonder what color it used to be . . . . I wonder if the neck pocket is still blue as well. This is a no-brainer. Mississippi built Peaveys were just fine ( . . . . if only they still were . . . . ), it's already stripped, and you won't have to buy pickups ! And I really can't think of many six-pound basses, which would make me think that the body is poplar, just seems a bit light for alder or ash, but there's worse problems to have. Joey |

I contacted the seller - I'm going to pick it up on Sunday. Stay tuned - these pick-ups should be perfect for a project I have in mind. Timm - thanks for the heads-up |

Mike - I have a friend who is doing luthier work in his home wood working shop. Most bits will probably wind up there. Otherwise, I'll saw your email on your profile page I'll contact you. Ed |
