Hello, I realize this is a rather tall order, but as I've been told, it doesn't hurt to ask :-) I'd love to find a Wall of Sound cabinet someday…. My Alembic modded Starfire is aching to play through one! If anyone happens to have one, or knows of a friend of a friend who would like to pass on care taking duties I would forever be in your debt. thanks! |

I see Maverick Music might have one.I get the feeling it wouldn't come cheap. link I have an old Bagend 12 ,it could be post-wall...I'm not sure how to tell. I imagine your Starfire is looking for a 15 (or 2). They do show up on CL and ebay every once in a while. happy hunting ! |

WOS cabinets came in different sizes. 2x12 like the pic from the link above and single 15"s for bass among others. WOS stuff is very hard to come by. I have a pair of vintage Bag End S15B-D Bass Cabinets loaded with brand new Eminence Legend CB158 15" bass speakers. I got these cabinets last year, put new speakers in them and made the grill cloths. They sound freaking great. I was hoping to use them in a Grateful Dead band, but I already have 2 others projects I'm working on. I would consider selling these for $800 for the pair. I live about 40 miles north of San Francisco. These cabs a large but not THAT heavy, and these would be a pick up, not a ship. If you're ever in the area, feel free to give me a call if you'd like to check them out. |

Nice! Also consider a Sunn 200S or a 2000S, if one comes available in your area. To my ear, one of the keys to the sound is a JBL, 140 speaker, I like the K140, but the D and E's also work. I use the K140s in a variety of cabinets and they all sound good. I have yet to try them in a sealed box, though. I'd love to hear that. |

Thanks guys. When I try to go to the Maverick Music site it says the account has been suspended. The pictures aren't showing up either, although that could be my lousy internet and slow computer! |

The picture gremlins must have hit again. The maverick link is wonky for me too...even if I go back to a cached url. oh well...the gods must have been angry they were asking too much . Pasewark's cabs looked like they might be just the ticket for your li'l WOS ;) |
