Unless that Europa is beat to hell, $1,500 is a GREAT price. People who have an Alembic on their wish list should check this one out. No photos of the Alembic in the posting so you'll need to ask.

Pictures 2 and 3 are of the Europa, maybe they weren't there when you looked earlier.

Those Yamaha JP's are a fantastic bass as well.

I didn't see the Europa photos at first (wasn't wearing my glasses) but someone needs to snag this one FAST if its in good condition. If I didn't already have a 6-String Europa I'd be all over it. Priced significantly below most of the Spoilers, Persuaders, Epics, Essences, and just about every other alembic I've seen lately with better electronics.

Brian the alembic is a 4 string, it's the second and third pictures in the series. Looking at the back it looks like it might have LED's.

Brian, my bad, I see you already have a Europa not that you thought it was the 6 string!

I've got a 6er. Just think this is a great buy for a Europa given that I've seen Spoilers selling for $2,000 and above.

Anybody pulled the trigger on the Europa? I just bought a Rogue otherwise I would be all over it. Always be cautious with deals on CL though, a nice phone call with details discussed is always recommended.

If that was in Europe at that price...... I'm pretty confident it would have gone already.

I'm looking for a Series I or II and already have a 6-string Europa but....this is getting more and more tempting. Given the listed price, I'm not sure the seller is totally aware of what he/she has on their hands. I might make a low offer. Have requested addition photos.

Hmm, Ive done that before.... and despite good advice given to me by forum members about keeping the focus. If what you want is a series bass, leave well alone. You may think you will sell it on when the right bass comes along, but alembics are really hard to part with.

That said, I have a weakness for Europa basses.
