This Zebrawood 6 string Spoiler has the look of a Series 1 with its five-pin-out and volume/volume- filter/filter-switch/switch configuration. A pickup selector switch that operates and placed like that of a series instrument adds to the confusion. It has the close string spacing and a 32inch string length associated with this style instrument, allowing you to manuver around the neck in a hasteless fashion. Body wood is SOLID Zebrawood and are not the typical "hippy sandwich". I have put a lot of time taking this bass to my guitar guy and tweeking the pickups/string height, finding the right gage & kind of string to feel comfortable and make this bass screeeeem!

Hard case, five pin cord and power supply included. Blue box power supply has a stereo / mono switch added.

Yours for $2500. E for pix.

Hey David,
Did you get that bass from Craig the Guitar Broker? If so, that's a really intriguing bass.

Wow,
I know the bass.
Solid Zebra body is so nice !
I thought, it has the series electronics without hum cancel PU.

How about the signature electronics with }18V ?
These controlers are same as Anniversary electronics. (2 set of Vol.-Filt.-SW with PU select)
If your bass is working better than 9V, I want to do for my Anniv-Bass.

PIX TOO BIG>>>>>GOTTA MAKE SMALL
Can someone who I sent pix to make'm small and post'm for me?? Danke!

Hmmmm....What did I forget?
Yes, I did get this from Guitar Broker. She was in hurt'n condition when I got her and needed some work to get it up in acceptable visual & playing condition. All is excellent now.

I was told that Alembic will not make this 5 pin configuation any more on non series instruments.

Dave,

Where are you at with your bass sale?

I've got a Bubinga Essence 6 that is drop dead gorgeous, but its long scale and wide string spacing make it difficult for me to play. It's been upgraded with a set of blue LEDs from FretFX.

I'd like a short scale bass, preferable with narrow string spacing. I'd been hoping for an MK 6 Deluxe, but then thought about your bass and wondered whether you might be interested in a trade.

Tim: I had a surprizing amount of interest in this bass. It is that Holiday thing that is creating a void to make some completion. I initionally didn't want to consider any trades because I need some liquid. Why don't send me some pix? I'll check it out. ~Dave~

Holiday season is almost over. Things have been quiet the last two weeks. This instrument is still available. Let the fun begin.
