Looking for Rickenbacker 4001 type parts.

My latest restoration project: a 1975 - 76 Greco Rickenbacker 4001 copy bass. It needs a lot of work before I can gig with it. Pics are after I pulled the hardware off it.

Needed:
Truss Rod cover: 1st choice Greco, 2nd Ibanez, 3rd Rickenbacker - I am not out to fool anyone that this is a real Rick and will not be selling it, I just want to gig with it

Bridge pickup is dead.

Neck pickup may need replacing as the neck is tweaked and I may need to fill in the big 'hog-rout' where the factory really removed too much wood to support the neck-through. Real Ricky pickups would be cool here!

Pickguard for the neck PU. Rick size. The original 'Mudbucker' it has is just a cover for a single coil anyway. (what were they thinking?)

This is a cool bass and sounded like a cross between a Rick and a Gibson EB bass when I plugged it in after getting it last week.

Prices must be reasonable due to my budget constraints

Thanks to those here who helped me finish my last project, the old Mockingbird that I am now using in the cover band I am in.1234

Good luck finding a Rickenbacker truss rod cover. Rickenbacker keeps as tight control on those as Alembic does on logos. I just picked up a 1987 330 that sustained fire damage. Rickenbacker won't sell me a replacement for the truss rod cover that partially melted unless I send them the damaged one first. You can find Rickenbacker TRCs on eBay, but they run $200-$250!

Bill, tgo
