Wasn't he trying to sell four of them (at pretty outrageous prices) as a 4-pack a while back? Four of 30 Alembic basses which he purchased just to find out out they were, "like wine with good and not so good "vintages." |

Yes Sir ,he was indeed .In my personal perception ,there is irony in how hypocritical the big picture of the scenario is with this individual to me when you consider the actual circuits and interfacing that he has boasted about in grand bravado form in the past that are , lets say , ______"good & cheap", for your Alembic . (say cheap with a smile )___LOL ! The reality is that Alembic Inc. is very fiscally conservative in pricing and accommodating to owners of used Alembics that are in need of authentic Alembic replacement parts and work done by the actual creators of our beloved instruments . That has been my experience , multiple times . There we have it ! (Message edited by sonicus on March 28, 2016) |

I wonder if this is the guy I got into an argument on facebook , he claims to have had "30 Alembics"[in another post he said 24]and "Loves them" but then says " Forget Fodera,Alembic etc....this is my new pride and joy "X bass" . I said well you get what you pay for....things spiraled down from there. he basically saying he would rather have this new bass than 5 Series 1 or 2 basses ,then telling me to STFU. Funny I can't find the post on facebook any more. I said ," If you don't like Alembics, why would you buy 30 of them ?......Thanks Sonicus, reading your post made me think this is the same guy. |

Interesting that the medium scale listing was quickly ended due to "errors in the listing." The other Series I the seller has up for sale is now listed at $7,000 buy it now only. I swear that I saw this one originally at $5,800. Even at the lower price all of his basses seem significantly overpriced. |
