Regarding the Persuader on Ebay. The headstock is attached to the neck with what is called a scarf joint. Thus, depending on the break, if the repair had been done by Alembic, it would probably be as good as new since the process to repair it would be similar to the process by which it was made in the first place. However, since the bass was not repaired by Alembic, I can't really say whether or not it is an issue with this bass. I can't see anything in the picture. If you're interested in this bass, you should ask for some detailed pictures of the repair and a description of the break and subsequent repair. Nice looking top! |
