This looks a lovely bass.
It seems to be going at an incredibly low price,( for a alembic on sale in Europe), at the moment. I'd love it myself but I'm disciplining my self to save for a series I or II and not get tempted by other alembic models at bargain prices.

jazzyvee:

You can always save LATER.

And REMEMBER . . . everything looks better in color, espcially RED.

But then, I may be a bit biased . . . .

Christian apparently said something like "that is indeed the thing!" After that I wasn't able to make out very much.

Christian,

No need to learn Dutch the way you pronounce your German!

Hi, Adriaan,

I have tried to write down two sentences in "Plattdütsch", a dialect used by the German folks at the stormy North sea very next to the Netherlands. I have grown up there, and the eBay seller "Jogi68" (also a member of this club) is living there, too, so the mood just took me, LOL ! Actually, Jogi was the first member I got contact with. Funny to see his eBay auction after the fact :-)

Apparently, Jogi doesn't post very much, I will drop him an email to say hello.

I once was talking to a gentleman from your region visiting the Netherlands, and he said it sounded like home to him.
