I was kind of scratching my head at this one too. Who knows. I once owned a mexican made jazz bass that played and felt better than any american standard I had tried. If I still owned it I could see dropping a set of alembic pickups in it. - Jim |

It went for a great price (mid $200's), even if your only goal was to "rescue" the electronics for use in another strat. |
