This flying v style guitar was made by me. It is neck through construction with a flamed maple neck. The wings are hollow and made out of poplar. They are topped with purple heart. There is also a purpleheart headstock veneer and a purple heart fingerboard. The scale length is 25.5 and has 24 frets. The guitar has one EMG-81 humbucker that sounds unbelievebly good. Gibson can't sue you over this. There's no possible way. Don't worry. Other companies are mass producing V guitars that are far closer to the original. Plus you aren't mass producing them...are you? But even if you were, you'd be fine. |
