Wow.

Somebody needs to snap this up quickly, before I start talking to Paul TBO about getting some stockings.

well congratualtions on your engagement. however i would advise against your selling this instrument. the regret of not having a fine instrument like this to play will far outlast the faded hot flush of a new romance.

btw are you running that thing through a stereo amp? i've found that nothing beats the sound of a series II through a stereo rig.

cheers

series iii,

Thanks. I am gong to keep my 75 series I and my Hyak.

I do play the bass through a stereo amp a Stewart 2.1 and two Epifani cabs. The sound is amazing.

Congratulations Dale. Keavin summed it up nicely. I'm going on 9 years now and can't imagine life being any better. I hardly remember what it was like before.
Sounds like you have lots of good offers.

Congrats on your marriage Dale! I'm sure Alembic will be happy to make you another Series bass in the future, perhaps for your anniversary (have you wife's name engraved on it).
Marriage is wonderful, in fact, I like it so much, I went back for seconds!! Only kidding.
You still have the '75 Series and a great rig.
Family first.
All the best

I can't believe that no one has stepped up with a reasonable offer on this one yet. It sure looks like a pretty bass in near new condition. With the electronics upgrade done, it may as well be brand new with 10 year old wood that has already settled into sounding extra-sweet.

Good luck, Dale!

Hi,

I am serious and ready to move. Is this bass still available? Please advise. A picture of the back would be helpful.

Like slammer, I'd appreciate an update on the status of this bass. Slapbass, if you are looking for a specific price, I'd also like to know that--or at least the range you have in mind. It would be helpful, even if you and angelboy [or someone else] have already made a deal.

He seems to have gone quiet. I thought the deal was in the bag but I haven't had a reply for weeks.

Bit strange!
