Haha - I like the shot of the dogs peeking around the corner. They look frightened of the thing. Fine luthier there - "Four string. Single tuner." - lol

The listing probably won't stay up too long. I bet Gibson is getting their attorneys lined up to file a lawsuit to protect their Flying V patent.

Actually, Henry's learning (Did you see that BS article about him and Gibson in USA Today this week? 'We want to become a lifestyle company, our model is Harley-Davidson...' HaHaHaHa) to do business differently.

He's bought the rights to this thing, will sell it through the Custom and Historic franchisees for 8 grand, make Joe Perry play one at the Super Bowl, then close it like most of his acquisitions. But it will come back as an Epiphone five years from now!

I thought i'd pee myself when I saw new Tobias basses (built at the Baldwin plant in Arkansas!?!?) on the Sweetwater website for 5 grand!

That is one of my fears. I love the flying v guitars but I would rather build my own than buy a Gibson. The one that I made I am trying to sell ( http://alembic.com/club/messages/395/25169.html?1140053459 ) but I am worried that Gibson will try to sue me or something.

I made a statement as a complete joke about a slice of decorated cardboard. I think that, if you want to have a serious discussion about it, this is probably not the place. At least, not on the for sale boards...
