Great shape, especially for it's age. Point body shape. Streaked walnut top and back, mahogany core, maple neck with purple heart laminates, zebrawood headstock over&under-lay and paduk fretboard. Oval MOP inlays, straight fast neck. Comes with OHSC in blue, no power supply. All original!! great bass but looking for 5 string to suit my needs. Any Alembic trades considered. "Alembic dream", I've worked and re-worked up so many combinations in my head that I've given up designing the perfect one...I'd need several to scratch my itch. Balancing vanity and function can be difficult. At least it's a pleasant torment. For now, mine does everything I need it to. For anyone considering this bass, I've dealt with Ed in the past. He's fair and true to his word.
