Hello- 2004 Alembic Stanley Clarke Signiture Deluxe, Cocobolo top and back, Sig. Electronics, side LED's (amber, yellow at 12th and 24th), Hardcase, short scale, etc, absolutely mint new (including the case), it has been played very lightly and never taken out of my home. I bought it last year at BassNW. Awesome bass, hands down the nicest and best bass I have ever owned or played period - no issues. I am now hooked on Europa's, so this has got to go... $3800 + shipping. Email me if you want more pix. Thanks, Andy afort@pacifier.com (Message edited by davehouck on February 23, 2006) |

I saw that one in person when it was sitting at Bass NW about a year and a half ago. The top is very nice and the abalone inlays were very interesting. Certainly a very solid instrument. |

I'm assuming you don't currently own an Europa? I'm fortunate that I have both an SC Deluxe and Europa. ( not for sale though). They are both fantastic instruments and although I haven't yet gigged with the europa, it is a fantastic sounding bass. I think it is easier to get the sound of other basses, fenders etc on the europa than the SC so for sessions that would probably be the one to take in the future anyway. The SC I think has a different quality of alembic sound all of its own and I have tended to use that bass more because of that. When I have done a side by side comparison then the Europa has a brighter more snappy tone than the SC. I'd hate to ever be in a position to have to make a decision about which one to sell. I think the SC would win but for now I'm happy to have a choice. JAzzyvee |

Consider your SC bass sold. If you could let me know the cost of overnight shipping, I will send you a certified bank check for the total amount. I am looking forward to hearing back from you very soon. |
