All, I am thinking about selling the May 2003 Custom (Seismic Bass). I am the original owner and it is in as new condition. As you know, you can visit Alembic's custom archive link and get all the details. Feel free to email me at: tbishop@1scom.net Tim B. |

Mark, I purchased this bass as a collector piece only. It has been stored in it's case from day one. I'd bet I've had it out about 5 times just to show it. Why am I selling? If it sells, I may very well regret it (won't be the first time), however, I own about 20 high-end basses, so, at this time I have decided to part with a few. This bass is drop-dead gorgeous. Nominated as the May 2003 Custom it will always be a part of Alembic's Custom Archive history. Tim B. |

Joe, Yes, it is awesome and a 1-of-a-kind bass. It has'nt sold yet though! This bass will remain in it's case as new until that day. So, don't ever say never about anything! Tim |

Hello- I am interested in this bass... two questions: is it a 35" or 34" scale? Also, how does it balance it your lap and strapped on - any neck dive? I would be stringing it up for a higher E to C tuning. Finally, what is your asking price? Thanks, Andy afort@pacifier.com |

All, Any serious buyers out there want a piece of Alembic's Custom history? I have received many email on this bass, however, no serious buyers. Here is Alembic's Custom Archive Link to this bass: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_seismic.html Tim B. Hi Bob, This is the only site I have listed this bass. I was hoping a club member would get it. As you can clearly see, I have tried to keep the offer visible through-out the last several months. While I have had many inquiries, I have yet to locate anyone that was serious and/or able to follow-through with a deal. EBay?.....I doubt it. If I get no takers here I will keep it. See it at Alembic: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_seismic.html Thanks, Tim B. tbishop@1scom.net |

I would love to have this bass, but still, I don't have any money. Things will change in a year, think it will still be for sale then? |

Applejuice, While I can't predict the future, I do agree with 2400wattman.....start saving just in case! (I would suggest this though; bump the price up on the lemonade and mix generously with some Patron Silver.) Tim B. |

I don't think he's quite old enough for that yet. Although Patron is an excellent choice I have recently tried Cuervo Black and I recommend that as well, very smooth straight up. Well Apple, better find a fall-winter job. It looks like this guy would rather sell to a member than put it on ebay(who could blame him) so he might still have it by the time you get the bread together. |
