A kind soul phoned in the tip on March 28 that he thought the bass on ebay was on the stolen list (though the serial number was partially obscured). We contacted the rightful owner of the bass immediately. We’re happy to report that the bass is now in police custody, soon to be returned to the rightful owner. Mel, if you’re reading this, please give me another call. I looked at the sellers completed auctions, and they've been selling a steady stream of random stuff that appears to be provided by an army of tweakers. hopefully other stolen materials will be recovered and returned to their owners. like that night trap video game and the leather chaps.
