Can anyone out there give me an idea what a Music Man Sabre should sell for. Its a 78' or 79 and in near mint condition and is anyone interested in purchasing this bass? I'll try to get some pictures posted. Thanks Willie |

eBay shows three Sabres sold in the US over the past few weeks at prices between $1136 and $1230. There was also one in the UK that went for about $1115. Do an eBay search for completed listings and you can see their conditions and details to compare them to yours. Good luck -bob |

Here are two pics. Both are Music Mans. The first (lighter) is a 4 string Sabre. The second is a 5 string Stingray. I can email directly better or more detailed photos. Just ask, and post an email. |

Hey everybody The Stingray is also for sale. It has a birdseye maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, it also has a Seymour Duncan Basslines Pre-amp and pick up,(I also have the original elctronics & pick up), and OHSC. Mint condition-not a mark on it. Willie |

Willie What kind of difference did you find in the Seymour setup vs. stock, and was it a true 'drop-in' replacement? J o e y |

Joey Changing the electronics gave it deeper lows and a brighter high end and it has a quick tone set up for slap style. You pull up on the volume knob and it sets it to a preset EQ with the mids dropped down. The pick was a drop in, the pre-amp was a little more involved but everything fit. I know if if you turn up the bass knob it can trick seismographs into thinking there is an earthquake happening. Willie |
