Hi all! I'm currently the proud owner of Series I, 7459. I'm hooked, and am looking for another old style body series I or II with LED's on the side fret markers. I'd prefer a maple top, but am open. I'd like long, but am open to a medium scale as well. If anyone sees something like this at a fair price, let me know. Thanks in advance and have a great day!! Frank |

No LEDs, but a very nice 77 S-I/4, at www.thelowend.net. I've played this bass, nice shape, needs work shining up the brass, that's about it. With original case, small power supply and cable. Would've have certainly bought it myself were it a five-string. J o e y |

Thanks Jerry - I contancted Brian and he wasn't sure about the woods and said he would get back to me. Did you recognize any of the woods when you played it? What do you think of the price? Thanks for your help! |

It's not maple. But the pics in his website are good enough to get the serial #, which could let Alembic research the original build record. J o e y |

This bass was priced at $3300 at TheLowEnd, but is now on eBay. Starting bid $3100. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250009307478&fromMakeTrack=true Cheers, M |

Or... I would also be open to a Mark King 4 or 5 (old style body). Side LED's would be great as I've got a vision problem. Thanks - ya know - this is a great community to be part of! |
