Gorgeous bass!!!

A couple of small points about your listing.

- The text says it has a Flame Maple top but the "Features" list says it's Quilted Maple.

- The Features list says it has a Liver logo; but I'm guessing it's probably Silver. <g>

More than likely, anyone looking to bid on this bass isn't going to be concerned about either point.

Also, unless my eyes just aren't focusing right today, that's an upgraded bridge, not the standard bridge; but I can't remember what it's called.

edit: Well I was thinking of the "Concealed Hardware" bridge, but this isn't it.

So, what model of Alembic is this? Is it a Series II with an Omega cut? Is it something else with Series II electronics? Or is there a body style itself called 'Omega' that I am not familiar with. (Trying to get up to speed!)

David; the model is either Series I or Series II. (The serial number has no letter after the two digits for the year. Series I and II are the only models with no letter in the serial number.) The three Purpleheart neck lams suggest that it's a Series II.

The body is a Standard Omega; which is essentially the same as a Standard Point except it has an Omega instead of a Point. The Standard Omega is listed as the standard body style for Series II. The Standard Point is the standard for Series I.

Well not quite yet. The buyer bailed out! He says he scrwed up his max bid amount. I have a second chance offer out to the next highest bidder, so it's still available. If that doesn't work, I might relist it this week.
