Maybe it is just my paranoid nature, but in my opinion the fact that this seller did not mention outright that this is a Baritone Guitar seems to tread close to
misrepresentation. I would hate to think of someone buying this without spotting the scale length reference, or perhaps being unaware of what a typical scale length is.

Kevin; I glanced at the listing and my guess is that he may have just forgotten to state it in the listing or he may have just erroneously assumed that everyone would be able to tell from the scale length that it was a baritone. But I could be wrong; I'm just guessing.

I think that stating the scale lenth to be 28" is about as explicit as it gets. When I read that description I had a very clear understanding of what the guitar was.

The seller added the following:

"Due to concern from the "Elite" guitar community I'm am hereby declaring that this is a Baritone guitar (NOT a bass) To avoid any possible confusion, even though most of you were already aware. Thanks!"

We be "Elite"????!!!! LOL

Yeah Dave, like I said it was probably just a case of paranoia on my part. In any case it seems to be that the issue is resolved.

I know there was a time when I did not know one scale length from another, and would have been disappointed to find out I had purchased something other than I expected. Perhaps my wording was a bit strong, but all of the issues we seem to encounter with ebay have made me extremely skeptical.

I think the seller could certainly have included some more information - it was definitely an incomplete description. People ask all kinds of questions about baritone guitars, even when they're up-front with the info (thinking about the recent Fender Baritone Custom). But it didn't seem to be malicious on his part.

One thing I want to know is how he tunes it, but since it doesn't have strings on it it's a moot point, huh?
