Check this one out. link The opening bid and BIN are the same: $4800 The seller claims the MSRP is $6400. The Alembic price list puts it at $4400. Who would want a new one, when for only a few hundred dollars more you can get a used one and enjoy all the fun and excitment of sending a boatload of bucks to a stranger and hoping your guitar arrives? The wood backplates add a bit to the retail price too, but I don't see what adds up to 6400. Nice looking guitar, though. Peace Tom |

Side leds aren't cheap either. But definitely overpriced if it is a second-hand. |
